A Very Well versed STOP OR WE'LL SUE YOU based post from someone working on The Stargate Worlds Project from MGM. I don't know if its going to come down to it or not. I've seen this guy before. He's a Pro in the industry. But I will let you guys discuss that with him. I've had my say with it, and its rather left me in a quite foul mood.

the RPG game ? based on stargate?

just bullshit .. because this mod doesnt have any ( Comurcial goals)

The games the developed where getting payd forther work and the person who puted monney in to it .. and lots of other things.. and i know thos story's there also on the Wiki website if you look for stargate games.. that game that was canceld.. And most of games like RPG '' you need to be registerd and pay 5/10 or 50 dollar for a membership and ***monney making things like that to get more LVL and experiance like other RPG games on the same thing..

It isnt only stargate movie world.. its also if you want to keep it on a unreal engine .. you need to have credits of the unreal or a producer to put monney into it and get premission of head of stargate sg1/atlantis...

My friend is creating a game almost 2 years based on a movie.. its goes about the drugs war in colombia and the west indies ( carabien) and about the anti drugs police + marine )

the also had to ask premision to keep developing this game.. the had comurcial goals for it..

The are creating it for pc,PS2/3 ,Xbox360 .. platforms

But the need tho pay the film studios i think 75% of the credits.. to the one who got credits of that movie..

so ... i know stargate is doing a litle bit bitchy about producing games and stuf ..

But what the hac its a mod based game.. and when this is going or if it is ether going comurcial.. this wil be handeld by taking care of .. Just like a Demo to the record company's
and waith what the say..

But we arnt even that far to do.. so just keep on going with this mod and gif it a try

W'r with a lot of cool people with intrest in this project and lots with experiance on unreal.. and beside that there also bussy with school in the gaming indutrial or bussy getting in to it.. by collega/school.. (we have them in The Netherlands)

And its a good CV for those guys to let them show what the made and what the created and worked on.. to get further in this (Game Industrial) as a game designer or any linked 3D Art.

It doesn't matter. they can and might consider you a threat to thier commercial project. My Suggestio is to go to the thread at BuF and discuss calmly and effectively to come to a postive resolution.

I dont have to do any thing with stargate worlds?

Like if we build a WO2 game .. then we have to ask the halfor the whole world for premision?

rofl.. ITs just conqurenti .. there is no game ever published of stargate.. i know the mods of the other unreal versions and halflife ec..

So am not that afraid of story's that goes true all of us..

just let us do what we want to do.. there is nothing sayd against Tactical ops or any infiltration game or other storys.. so why do we need to ask premision of some on to create a mod ? if i ask premision i ask it at the person who i need to be if i want to.. but its getting a bit lame at the moment all people on our asses for nothing.. just am more bussy with posting abuse's and stuf like that then i have time to work on the mod

sm1key, I understand your felings on the matter. But its a matter of copywritten stuff not with just other modder this time. This might be the big boys with the big guns. At least hear them out and discuss it with them? I'd hate to see this shut down, due to mgm issuing a legal and binding Cease & Desist order. They can do it too, please for the team at least start the discussions?

am a bit confused.. .. and ehm am very bussy at the moment to work on it.. to post .. and btw can you post on the prived section some notes ? ill work on it

ll by now it should be knda taken care of. Sorry guys been busy with family life and such and I lost my Leon model for UT and been busy throwing a pity party for myself becuase I want to make the model and finish and get it in game and can't becuase I'm a dumbass and just can't do it right....
